New Song: Your Daddy's Cadillac
New song... Jen says it's "a little bit Clash and a little bit Bruce." This version is just me on vocals and guitar, but as soon as the third member of the band gets back from being abroad we're going to figure out a version with the full Frampton Drops Dead (that's the band) accompaniment. Hope you enjoy.

New Paintings: "Gamma Ray," "Kill Bot," "Conversations at Parties # 3"
Hey All -
Some of the new paintings. There will be three robot / landscape pieces, but I've only done two so far. The other is the third in the "Conversations at Parties" series. All are 4' x 4', acrylic on canvas. Both series (or at least selections from them) will be on display at Visible Voice Books in Tremont in June.

Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree!
Hello Everyone!
I'm the other half of this blog and even though this topic is a little late I wanted to get this post up here before winter is over. As long as the snow is on the ground I think it'll be Ok. It is our second year doing our own tree so we decided to color coordinate this year!

Here it is all decorated, lit, and trimmed! I made some garland that I copied off of an amazing UK company called toast.

These pictures were the inspiration for the colors. I wanted to do something that felt soft and vintage with a different color pallet other than the traditional red and green. It's feels warm and romantic.
Here are our beautiful ornaments before they went on the tree.
as you can see our rug past the table we are not afraid of pink.
So Happy belated Holidays!
Thats our tree

New Paintings: Conversations at Parties #1 and #2
I could say something about how these paintings are meant to capture or represent the vapidity of most party conversations, how it's an indictment of a culture whose individuals have lost the ability to connect meaningfully with one another, but mostly I think these paintings are about being unable to communicate at parties because attention is so splintered and everything is so LOUD (maybe that's just me getting old). Anyway, I've got plans for at least one more of these, so check back.
